Printing from the internet

If you are sometimes printing something from the web, you may have noticed gigantic ads on your printed sheets.

To put online colorful ads is not big pain for advertisers, while you are wasting your or your companies color ink. I am sure you care, therefor here are two ways to save ink and pages while printing something from the internet.

Option one
  1. Copy text you want to print.
  2. Open word document
  3. Click on 'Edit' on the top bar and then choose 'paste special'
  4. window will pop up and give you few choices how you want to paste your text. Choose 'unformatted unicode text'
  5. then make changes you want and print.

Option two
  1. Visit Readability: http://lab.arc90.com/experiments/readability/
  2. Choose below your favourite style, size and margin
  3. install Readability button in your browser. (Button/Extension is available for all browsers.)
  4. visit the page you want to print.
  5. click Readability button in your browser. It will remove all unnecessary ads and colours.
  6. click print
This way you can be sure, that no half page ads will be printed on your document.
I hope this helps.
